Reflexology

Reflexology involves the application of gentle pressure to relax points located on all parts of the feet.

These points relate to the internal organs, glands and structures of the body. The feet reflect, and are a mirror of, the body. Pressure on reflex points can therefore affect and normalise the functioning of the body.

The body’s natural ability to heal itself is stimulated and health is restored. Everyone can enjoy the benefits that reflexology offers.

Reflexology aims to:

Induce a deep sense of relaxation

Relieve stress and tension

Encourage the body to heal itself

Ease aches and pains

Improve the mobility of joints

Detoxify and cleanse the body of impurities and toxins

Balance the hormones, helping disorders such as PMT and the menopause

Stimulate mental function and helps concentration

Caution:

Reflexology is NOT a diagnostic tool. Any diagnosis should be carried out by a medically qualified doctor.

Reflexology should NOT be used instead of orthodox medicine. Medications should never be withdrawn. Reflexology and orthodox medicine complement each other.

Although most health problems can be successfully treated with reflexology, the advice of a doctor should be sought if they persist.

Reflexology does not claim to “cure” diseases and should never be used to give false hope.
